Submit a video

By submitting a video, you inspire others to work on animal-free innovations and showcase your work for the transition.

If you want to show your own work, product, question, or anything else, please read the text below and follow these steps.

1. Make a video

Watch our ‘how to’ video and the list below for tricks. If you need help after seeing the video, you can mail info@tpi.tv for help.

  • Make a clear storyline. Use e.g. the golden circle of Simon Sinek: why, how and what. Or check out the videos on the platform.
  • For the right level of the video, imagine that you have to explain what you want to tell to a master’s student.
  • Make a summary of what you are going to tell in the video at the start so you catch the attention of people, then elaborate a bit more in the rest of the video.
  • Keep the video short, maximum 1-2 minutes.
  • Make sure you are recording in a quite space.
  • Use a good camera, one of the latest mobile phones is often sufficient. Film in 4k if possible.
  • Make sure that the lighting is proper, i.e. no backlight, not too bright or too dim light.
  • Have preferably one person presenting.
  • Use cover shots that support the story that your are telling at that moment to keep you video captivating.

2. Send it to us

To submit your video, you can send a mail to info@tpi.tv with the following information:

  • A link to where we can download the video, for example on SURFdrive or WeTransfer
  • The title of your video

  • A few keywords (3 to 5)
  • Links to relevant information (scientific publication, institute/company/project website, other videos about your research or product, datasets, upcoming events, etc.)

3. Spread the word

After the information is complete, your video is ready to go online. We will try to process the video and additional information as soon as possible, but please note that this might take a few days. We will also make a post on the TPI LinkedIn page and you can share the post in your network as well, reaching as many people as possible. On average, videos are watched tens of times when you share the video on your social media.
